Cavity Wall Insulation
If your home was built after 1940, it will almost certainly have cavity walls rather than solid walls.
"Around 33% of a property’s heat is lost through uninsulated cavity wall."
Cavity walls can easily be insulated, making your house warmer and more comfortable. You will lose less heat and save money on your heating bills.
Cavity wall insulation provides the following benefits:
- Cuts the amount of energy used in heating the home.
- Improves the comfort of your home.
- Reduces, or eliminates, condensation from appearing on walls.
- Protects against mould growth.
- Aids the environment.
The Insulation Process.
A pattern of small holes is drilled on the external elevations of the property. A dry mineral fibre insulation is injected through the holes, forming an insulated ‘blanket’ around the building. Next, all the injection points are ‘made good’ with matching mortar.
On completion, the installation is virtually invisible. All installations are undertaken only by BBA approved Technicians and on completion a 25 year CIGA Guarantee is issued to each qualifying installation.
